REPRO ONLINE digitises your books with professional book scanners without damaging them. We scan new and old books, unique copies, picture and newspaper volumes, folios and catalogues up to a format of 90 x 130 cm. You benefit from favourable online conditions, e.g. in DIN A4 format - depending on the extent of the book between 0.27 CHF and 0.37 CHF per page. In the so-called destructive scanning process (where the book is cut open) flat rate of 0.06 CHF per page. You receive a PDF or eBook - with text recognition on request. The processing time is 10 working days. You send your originals by post or parcel service. After receipt and inspection, you will receive an email confirmation with a fixed price for your order. If you do not agree with this, we will send your originals back to you free of charge.

GENTLY DIGITISING VALUABLE BOOKS
With our professional book scanners, we offer you a gentle process for digitisation, whereby your books remain preserved in their original form. We digitise new and old books, unique items, picture and newspaper volumes, folios and catalogues up to a format of 90 x 130 cm. Dirt and see-through backs can be eliminated on request. The intact book original will be promptly returned to you after processing.
SCANNING OF PICTURE AND NEWSPAPER VOLUMES
REPRO ONLINE digitises not only pure text templates, but also photo books, picture or newspaper volumes, catalogues, calendars and yearbooks, entire collections or archives. We scan your originals quickly and with high quality using our equipment fleet and a team of qualified employees. The output is always standard at 300 ppi, so that the files can be reproduced in the original format or even enlarged in print, e.g. as posters. A basic adjustment of the image data in terms of alignment, white balance, colour correction, contrast and sharpness is included in every order as part of the service.
BOOK SCANS WITH TEXT RECOGNITION
We create your data on request with OCR capture as a searchable PDF file or also in Word format, so that the content is fully editable, readability is improved, and the file size is reduced. This allows for lightning-fast searching within digital documents and archives. Even templates with old scripts can nowadays be converted without any problems. Text recognition is also a prerequisite for conversion into an eBook format.
BOOK DIGITISATION AS E-BOOK
Additionally, it is possible to convert your data into a readable eBook format such as EPUB (for almost all common eReaders like Tolino and Pocket Book Touch). Here too, we always ensure optimal quality and process your templates with the greatest care. We prevent shadows and distortions, clean up existing imperfections such as yellowed pages, and check the content of the eBook for completeness and correct display.
THE MOST COMMON EBOOK FORMATS
The most commonly used file formats for eBooks are PDF and EPUB.
PDF is the most widely used format. It can be easily created by almost all users. Although it is not a dedicated eBook format, it can still be displayed on most eBook readers, e.g. the Tolino or the PockerBook Touch. For use on the Amazon Kindle, PDF files can be converted via email or using free software.
EPUB is an open file format and the current standard for eBooks. Unlike a PDF, the EPUB format ensures that the text adapts to the respective output device and is therefore more readable. Books can be displayed on all common e-readers such as the Tolino or the PockerBook Touch.

Are you interested in PDF prints, bindings, laminations, flyers, stickers and brochures in DIN A4 format? Orders received by 1 pm will still be printed and shipped on the same working day (Mon-Fri).
OVERNIGHT POSTER PRINT
All poster print orders placed by 4 pm are shipped on the same working day. You can choose between environmentally friendly papers in poster quality for indoor use and water-resistant blueback paper for outdoor use.
