FIVE TYPES OF FOLDING FOR YOUR PLOTS
When folding your technical drawings, you can choose from the following types of folding:
Folding with binding edge according to DIN 824-A (Cover sheet width 190 mm + 20 mm binding edge)
Folding with binding strip according to DIN 824-B (Cover sheet width 195 mm + 15 mm binding strip)

Alternatively, you can order your plans rolled, that is without folding.
CAD PLOTS WITH PROTECTIVE LAMINATION
All Classic and Premium plots can be laminated with a clear PE film upon request.
This means your drawing or plan is completely sealed (thickness front and back each 125 µ) and absolutely waterproof due to an additional protective edge. The film is completely transparent and can be ordered with either a matte or glossy surface. We recommend the matte finish to avoid any reflections. If you want to write on the laminate with a wipeable pen, choose the glossy variant.
Especially suitable, for example, for escape and rescue plans (FRP), safety and health protection plans (SiGePlan), or riser diagrams (S-Schema) as well as piping and instrumentation flow diagrams (P&I flow diagram) in buildings or for weatherproof posting on construction sites. We can laminate any printed format, including oversized lengths. Due to their stable thickness, the laminates are not foldable and are delivered rolled only. For even more durability, we recommend printing on weatherproof plastic film.

How much does a plot cost?
DIN A0 plots in black and white cost between 0.99 EUR and 0.59 EUR each, depending on the order quantity. DIN A0 plots in colour accordingly cost between 2.95 EUR and 1.77 EUR each. DIN A1 plots cost from 0.51 EUR each, DIN A2 plots from 0.45 EUR each.
How quickly can you deliver CAD plots? Do you offer express delivery?
All directly paid plot service orders received by 4 pm (Monday to Friday) will be shipped on the same day. With express delivery, your CAD plots can be at the destination as early as 7:30 am on the next working day. In addition to classic delivery (1-2 working days), you can choose cost-effective express deliveries (by 9 am, 10:30 am, 12 pm, 6 pm, and Saturday delivery) on the next working day.

Do you print only DIN formats or also custom sizes?
We plot in the Classic version any format up to a max. print width of 105 cm (short side), where the length does not matter. In the "Megaplot" version, print widths (short side) up to 150 cm are possible.
Do you offer different paper weights in your plotting service?
Yes. By default, we print on 80g paper. Our premium plot is produced on a smooth coated 90g paper. In addition, we also offer a graphic plot on 120g as well as transparent plots in 110g.
Can you also laminate plans, that is, seal them waterproof?
Yes. Regardless of the plan format, we offer you weatherproof all-round lamination with a protective edge, so that no moisture can penetrate. The lamination is highly transparent and glossy. Please note that production will be extended by one working day.
Can you enlarge my file to a different scale?
No. We print 1:1 like the original in the sheet size you specified. Scaling is not possible when ordering.
How do I create a print-ready plot file in PDF format?
The best way to create a PDF file is through an application program such as PDF Creator. Make sure that all fonts are embedded and that no comment or form fields are used. Transparencies, layers, comments, form fields, and passwords are not permitted. If CID fonts are used, your PDF file must be created via Acrobat Distiller or as PDF version 1.2.
Do I need to recreate a cancelled plot order?
Yes, a manually or automatically cancelled plot order cannot be reactivated. The order data will be automatically deleted in the event of a cancellation. Please place your order again in this case.
Can CAD plots be printed in black and white and in colour?
Yes, with the classic plots you have the choice between a black-and-white plot in greyscale or a colour plot. With the premium plot you select a higher print and paper quality. For plots and sophisticated graphics and photos, choose the graphic plot option. Additionally, colour printing on transparent paper is possible.
What restrictions are there for uploading my print files?
Basically, you can upload print files with a total size of up to 4 GB in one process. However, the duration of an upload process is limited to a maximum of 10 minutes. If these limits are exceeded, the upload will be automatically aborted. In these cases, please split your data into several upload packages and upload each in a separate upload process.
How do I create plan and cutting frames in my CAD drawing?
Our plotting service works with an automatic detection of the cutting frame. Please place this around the plan frame according to the desired final size and take the folding into account.
What is a fold according to DIN 824?
The standard DIN 824 regulates the folding of technical drawings to the final format DIN A4, both with and without binding. In all foldings, the title block lies completely on the cover side and can be read without turning or unfolding.
What is a fold with a yeast edge?
DIN 824-A is the fold with a left-sided, 20 mm wide binding margin. Due to technical standards, this folding variant is delivered by REPRO ONLINE for self-punching by the recipient.
What is a fold with a stapled strip?

COLOUR PLOTTING CLASSIC
REPRO ONLINE plots your large-format construction plans and CAD drawings using high-speed colour plotting systems of the latest generation. Pigmented inks ensure a more durable, lightfast print image. PDF files of technical drawings in DIN and non-standard formats up to a print format with the short plan side of 105 cm are processed. For further processing, you can choose from the following options: DIN folding with binding edge, DIN folding with hole reinforcement (binding strip), packet folding (to the format 210x297mm) and "rolled". An automated production line ensures the reliable and punctual processing of large order volumes. Large-format photo prints and posters are not processed in the CAD plotting service. Please select the items Poster Printing or Fine Art Printing as required.
BW PLOT CLASSIC
REPRO ONLINE prints your CAD plans and construction drawings with pigmented inks in black and white as well as an additional spectrum of 256 greyscales. The result is an especially sharp print image even with the finest lines as well as smooth transitions in the areas, particularly in the output of coloured originals as greyscale prints. Printable are PDF print files up to a maximum format of 90.4 cm (short side). For folding, you can choose between: folding with a binding edge, folding with hole reinforcement (binding strip), packet folding (to the format 210x297mm), each in the final format DIN A4 or "Rolled". Text documents, graphics, and posters are not processed in the BW plot service. Please select the poster printing article for these. For enquiries about whether your print template is suitable for ordering, please contact our customer service.
COLOUR PLOTS PREMIUM
Have CAD plans plotted in premium quality: the printing of the premium colour plot is controlled via a special colour management, which is particularly noticeable in drawings with coloured areas, e.g. in the reproduction of pastel tones and tonal gradations. For this, we additionally use a specially coated paper, which is coated with a binder that causes the printing material to absorb less colour and thus not swell. The result offers a noticeably smoother feel and is the first choice when plans and drawings are to convey a certain value. Your options for further processing here are also folding with a binding edge, folding with hole reinforcement (binding strips), and packet folding, all in DIN A4 format as well as "Rolled". The maximum print format of the short plan side is 84.1 cm.
GRAPHIC PLOTS
If you want to use your plans for presentations and competitions, if your templates are full-bleed or include strong colour areas (e.g. for the depiction of mixed graphics including photographs or rendered illustrations), we offer you a professional 4-colour print on sturdy 120g poster paper with the graphic plot. By using a gel toner of the so-called Crystal-Point technology, sharp, waterproof black-and-white or colour prints with a finely shimmering silk finish are created, which impress visually and can still be produced particularly cost-effectively. The paper used is produced in an environmentally friendly way and is FSC-certified. The max. print format (short side) for graphic plots is 105 cm. These plots are not foldable and are delivered rolled only.
MEGAPLOTS
If you want to print particularly large technical drawings with a height (short side) of over 1051 mm, please order our "Megaplot" for this. As a Megaplot, your plans can be printed up to a max. format of the short side of 1520 mm (!). By using pigmented inks, the CAD prints are UV-stable in the long term. Since these oversized CAD plots are produced in a separate printing process and additional manual work steps are necessary for this, the processing time of an order containing Megaplot items is extended by up to 2 working days.
TRANSPARENT PLOTS
We print on classic, robust transparent paper (95 g/m²) in colour or greyscale directly from PDF files. Construction drawings, design or circuit diagrams, drafts and sketches can then be edited as usual with a drawing pen and razor blade. The material and printing process offer the highest possible dimensional stability for particularly precise and to-scale reproduction. Transparent paper offers you a maximum print format of 90.4 cm (short side) beyond the DIN A0 format. Please note that transparent plots are primarily designed for the reproduction of line drawings – larger colour areas, etc. often lead to drying problems with the inks and cannot be processed by us. All transparent plots are shipped rolled only.
